Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) creates a personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student's learning level—precisely measuring student progress and growth for each individual. Teachers will have essential information about what each student knows and is ready to learn within 24 hours.
The ACT test is now used as the state’s accountability test for grade 11. Beginning April 19, 2017, all 11th graders in the state of Nebraska, including Gibbon High, will take the ACT test annually in the spring. Additionally, students will be able to use their state assessment ACT scores for college applications as they are administered according to ACT rules and regulations.
The Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System (NSCAS), pronounced “en-skass,” is a new statewide assessment system that embodies Nebraska’s holistic view of students and helps them prepare for success in postsecondary education, career, and civic life. It uses multiple measures throughout the year to provide educators and decision makers at all levels with the insights they need to support student learning.
