Who Should Attend
This convening is designed for individuals, students, and cross-sector professionals such as nonprofit, governmental and private sector representatives who are committed to preventing and responding to the harmful social and health outcomes associated with violence against men, boys and male-identifying individuals.
In particular, VAMB welcomes the attendance and participation of:
Public health, behavioral health, medical providers;
Male-advocacy organizations or those specializing in men's health or engaging with male patients and clients impacted by trauma;
Private-sector organizations and businesses committed to social responsibility, human rights and/or health equity;
Policymakers and government officials responsible for public health and violence intervention;
Researchers and academics in the field of public health, gender studies, sociology, and psychology;
Criminal justice professionals such as judiciary, law enforcement, prosecutors, public defenders, and child protective services
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working on men's rights and violence prevention; and,
Agencies with established, innovative violence intervention programs.
While the event has been designed for the leaders and organizations listed above, all individuals are welcome at VAMB and there is no required criteria for registration.
