These are events hosted by GHURA’s Public Housing Resident Services Center. Unless it says otherwise, they are for GHURA public housing residents only.
Here are some events we’ve already done so you can see the types of activities we bring to residents.
The second round of our Healthy Kids Club at Toto Gardens was a great success! Partnering once again with UOG’s Ms. Katrina, 3rd–5th graders enjoyed a week of fun, hands-on workshops focused on healthy eating and active living during Spring Break.
Daily sessions ran from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and brought together youth from GHURA public housing communities to learn, move, and make healthy choices.
Si Yu’os ma’åse’ to all who participated and helped make Round 2 a success!
Children from our resident communities participated in a Health Kids Club workshop hosted in partnership with the University of Guam. The session included engaging activities focused on healthy habits, wellness, and learning in a fun and supportive environment.
The Resident Services Center celebrated Halloween 2025 with a Children’s Event at Toto Gardens, offering a family movie, coloring activity, popcorn, and snacks in a safe, fun space for youth and families. In partnership with Mañe'lu, children also enjoyed pumpkin decorating, with Resident Services staff organizing the movie, activities, and refreshments. Enjoy some of the photos from this event below.
Below are programs, jobs, and events from other agencies and nonprofits. These are not GHURA programs, but we share them in case they are useful for you or your family.
