Beginning December 1, you will have access to our full benefits portal, GHConnect.
Open Enrollment is December 1–13.
This is your chance to choose the benefits that are right for you and your family. We have the information and resources you need to make the best decision for you.

ALEX Benefits Counselor
ALEX is an online platform that helps you select the best benefit plans for you. All you need to do is answer a few questions, and ALEX will crunch some numbers and point out which plans and coverages make the most sense for you and your family. Choose “I am a new hire” since this is your first enrollment with GHC.
Ask Benefits
Getting help is easy! Call Ask Benefits at 855-424-0400 to get assistance from a real person with any benefits-related question, during Open Enrollment or throughout the year. Advocates are ready to answer your questions, help you find the best network providers, walk you through the enrollment process, or connect you directly with other services.
Aetna Find a Doctor Tool
Using network providers will save you money and hassle. To see if your current providers participate in the Aetna networks or to find new providers in your area, check out Aetna’s Find a Doctor tool.
In the "Continue as a guest" box, enter your home ZIP code and select "Search."
Under "Select a Plan," enter the network name for the plan you are considering (see below), then click "Search."
On the next page search for specific providers by name or choose from categories such as Medical Doctors & Specialists, Pharmacy, Mental Health or Dental Care. You can also filter the list based on your preferences.
Aetna Plan Networks
The Aetna Advantage (PPO) and Aetna Health Saver (HDHP) plans use the Aetna Choice POS II network.
The Aetna Select plan which is like an HMO and only provides coverage through network providers (except in emergencies) uses the Aetna Select Open Access network.
If you’ve found a new provider, remember that Ask Benefits can also assist with transferring your medical records.
Once Open Enrollment Begins ... Your Next Steps
Starting December 1, you will have access to GHConnect and Workday.
Verify dependent information. Go to Workday to confirm dependents’ Social Security Numbers. More
View important legal notices on GHConnect, including the Summary Plan Description, Benefits Highlights 2024 (Summary of Material Modifications) and the Notice of Privacy Practices for Protected Health Information.
Explore your options. Go to GHConnect or ALEX.
Make your elections and select your beneficiaries for life and accident insurance on Workday December 1 - 13.
Review choices carefully before submitting. These are your choices for all of 2024!
What Happens if You Don’t Enroll?
If you do not take action during Open Enrollment you will be automatically enrolled in the Health Saver medical plan covering yourself only, basic life insurance and long-term disability coverage. You will not be enrolled in a dental plan, the Flexible Spending Accounts (for health care or dependent day care expenses) or the Health Savings Account. You will not be able to enroll in a plan, add dependents, waive medical coverage or otherwise change your elections until next year's Open Enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying life event.
