All About Us

Mrs. Cohn is the 7th grade Team Blue honors math and regular math teacher.

This is Mrs. Cohn's 14th year teaching and has been working in Garfield Heights for the past 8 years. She grew up in Garfield and graduated from Garfield Heights High School. I am married to Mr. Cohn from Elmwood Elementary School, and we have 2 daughters, Makenzie and Leah. In our spare time we love to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends.

Mrs. Dempsey is the 7th grade Team Blue Intervention Specialist. She spends the mornings coteaching in Language Arts and the afternoons coteaching in Math.

This is Mrs. Dempsey's 11th year teaching and her 2nd year in Garfield Heights. Prior to Garfield Heights, she worked at GlenOak High School near Canton. She received her teaching degree from THE Ohio State University. She is originally from Cincinnati and loves going to concerts, traveling, camping, Starbucks, and spending time with her husband and their Black Lab, Zazu.
