All About Us

Ms. Kyser is the Language Arts teacher for both Honors and Regular Language Arts as well as the Team Leader for the 7th grade Blue Team.

This is her 3rd year teaching in Garfield Heights and prior to that she taught in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She received her teaching degree from the University of Mount Union. She loves animals and being at the Zoo, being involved with music, and loves to play and watch all sports, especially Cleveland Indians baseball and football. She loves being active and spending time with her family. Ms. Kyser is also one of the Track Coaches at Garfield Heights Middle School.

Mrs. Dempsey is the 7th grade Team Blue Intervention Specialist. She spends the mornings coteaching in Language Arts and the afternoons coteaching in Math.

This is Mrs. Dempsey's 11th year teaching and her 2nd year in Garfield Heights. Prior to Garfield Heights, she worked at GlenOak High School near Canton. She received her teaching degree from THE Ohio State University. She is originally from Cincinnati and loves going to concerts, traveling, camping, Starbucks, and spending time with her husband and their Black Lab, Zazu.
