One-Point Perspective: A drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line.
It is a way of drawing objects upon a flat piece of paper (or other drawing surface) so that they look three-dimensional and realistic.
TASK 3a and 3b
Watch the video and draw a room exactly how the artist sketched it using the one point perspective.
Sketch your own room and be original. You will need to have at least two windows, two doors, and two pieces of furniture. Remember to think about the previous video's skills: use perspective, outline and shading to apply rich details to your sketch.
With a classroom iPad, your cell phone, or computer take a picture of your sketches based on the video, rename it "one point perspective room - directed".

TASK 3a How To Use One-Point Perspective (Room)
One-Point Perspective - a drawing with only ONE vanishing point (furthest from the viewer), typically used for hallways, roads, paths, etc where parallel lines converge.
In a perspective drawing, objects appear to diminish in size as they recede into the distance, and lines that are parallel in the actual object appear to converge at some distant point on the horizon (termed the vanishing point)
Construction or Orthogonal lines always appear to meet at a vanishing point on the eye level, "guides" the artist.
