Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is an in-school academic support program for grades seven through twelve. The purpose of the program is to prepare students for college eligibility and success.

AVID Literacy Goal:
We aim to enhance students’ academic literacy by developing strong notetaking skills—using strategies such as Cornell Notes and organized questioning—to help them identify key concepts, generate higher-level questions, and engage more effectively in the AVID tutorial process.
