Community Service

AVID students are expected to volunteer 20 hours or more each school year.

To qualify for Orange County Department of Education AVID scholarships, students will need a minimum of 20 hours per year (more is expected).

100+ hour certificates of achievement will be awarded at the AVID Senior Celebration dinner in May.

Beginning 2024-2025 school year, we will be using a digital Community Service Log.

You will need to take a photo at the event as evidence of your participation. No signatures will be required.
