Good Health @ Work
Ambassadors
Ambassadors
Our Ambassadors are representatives of organisations who have engaged with the Good Health at Work programme offered by Get Set UK and Funded by Suffolk County Council.
These organisations pay their experience forward by supporting other Suffolk businesses to build and champion a culture of health and wellbeing across the county.
This can be either by sharing their experience of the Good Health @ Work programme, mentoring a business to achieve the GH@W Bronze, Silver or Gold award, or by generally championing Good Health at Work principles, sharing their experiences and expertise and hosting Good Health @ Work events such as face to face training or networking events.
A diverse and inclusive workforce allows for a variety of perspectives and skills, which can lead to a much stronger and more successful business and a positive and valued workforce.
A healthy workforce can reduce absences and increase retention as well as create a positive and united work environment. Fulfilling good health at work principles including, physical, mental and financial wellbeing are paramount to this.
Fundamental to the Ambassador project is the desire to see Suffolk businesses adopt and promote good work principles that will stay with them forever. To precipitate sustainable behavourial change which will benefit Suffolk businesses, the Suffolk workforce and the wider Suffolk economy.
The Ambassador Network connects SMEs to a community of like-minded businesses.
