BEST PRACTICES
✔ Start only after NTP is issued – ensure financing approvals are official before scheduling installs.
✔ Verify permits are issued – confirm AHJ approval to avoid delays or fines.
✔ Submit interconnection applications on time – keep PTO and incentives on track.
✔ Address AHJ correction notices promptly – resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving.
✔ Coordinate equipment changes with AHJ – maintain compliance and pass inspections smoothly.
✔ Include all required placards and labels in plans – ensure safety and avoid rework.
✔ Confirm PTO with the utility – make sure the system is officially authorized to operate.
❌ Install without NTP
❌ Install without issued permit
❌ Submit interconnection late
