I think that using technology helps a teacher in many ways with the assessment process. Technology allows the teacher with many tools that will provide students with a varied assessment experience. It also allows the teacher to assess more frequently and provides the teacher and his/her students with immediate feedback on student learning. Using technology has made it easier for me to communicate with students on their learning progress, and it has allowed me to more effectively adjust my teaching practices to meet their learning needs.

I really enjoyed learning about and creating a rubric using Goobric and Doctopus. I think that this will be able to have continual application in my classroom right away. I can create a rubric for assignments I share via Google Classroom. The students and I can use the rubric to score their work. This will help the students with their self-assessment as well as will allow me to provide them with feedback on their assignments.
