AMCRL Instruments Website. 

Each instrument page contains a sign-up calendar that allows you to schedule and reserve a date and time for the instrument and includes information such as user operating instructions and specifications.

You must be logged into a @georgiasouthern.edu or Gmail account to reserve instrument time.  

AMCRL Charges for Equipment Use

Charges per hour:

(Future charges subject to change)

There will be a one-hour time minimum and time will be billed in 30-minute increments. 

Mass Spec and SEM

Internal Users: 

• Peak time 8am - 5pm: $50/hr, $150 cap/day

• Off peak time: $40/hr, $120 cap/day

• Max charge up to 3 hours in a single day, (can use more than 3 hr in a day).

• Instruction on the instrument: $100/hr

External Users: 

• $150/hr

• $75/hr (if the user is trained/runs their own sample)

Internal Users:

• $10 per sample

External Users: 

• $85 per sample

• $40 per sample (if the user is trained/runs their own sample)
