Starting in the 2020-2021 school year, teachers have access to a Teacher Counselor Google Classroom that the counselor developed with support and resources for our staff. The counselor included mental health support, Social & Emotional Learning resources, staff training, and more. For the 2021-2022 school year, the counselor spent time training teachers on social & emotional learning, and emotional regulation strategies for students, as well as best practice district procedures for intervention for students in crisis. The counselor continues to support students throughout the year with student concerns and provide resources and strategies for self-care and mental health needs.
