Continue and broaden of the Mitchell Ambassador and Leadership team through at least one meeting per month with students
Guidance Goal:
Present engaging lessons to each classroom at least 4 times per semester addressing interpersonal and intrapersonal effectiveness.
Responsive Services Goal:
Establish at least 1 student small group counseling intervention for each grade level (1st-5th) each semester based on the SES data and data from referrals.
System Support Goal:
Establish a teacher, student and parent referral system to allow stakeholder communication with the counselor.

Individual Planning
Meet with 5th grade students to discuss 5th to 6th grade transition and Schedule choices that meet student goals.
Planning with 504, ARD, and MTSS committees to set adademic and behavior goals.
Mitchell Ambassadors created to assist 4th and 5th graders with service and leadership skills , including forward thinking application of these skills in the future academic and work situations.
Guidance
The counselor visits each of the 37 classrooms on a 3 week rotation addressing content based on the SES survey and input from the Mitchell SEL and Design Teams.
SEL Weekly Lessons for classroom teachers to address the highest need areas based on surveys- Interpersonal and Intrapersonal awareness.
Body Safety Lessons presented to Kindergarten-5th grade by the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center to address SB 9 requirements to provide students with the opportunity to receive instruction on the topic of Child Abuse and Family Violence.
Responsive Services
Student Google Form referral for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade to give students agency in requesting assistance.
Small group counseling based on teacher, parent and student referrals on topics related to Survey responses and student need.
Individual check-ins with students to assist with social emotional regulation.
Crisis intervention when appropriate to address immediate need of emotional/social support , including grief, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, for example.
System Support
Participating and collaborating in MTSS Committee discussions and decision-making.
Regular parent communication through phonecalls, email and campus weekly prinicpal newletters to families.
Coordinating Mentors, PALS and Watch DOG Dads for campus community connections and collaborations
Referrals for additional counseling support through School Based Therapy, and outside services
Ambassadors presenting at The State of The District
Mitchell Ambassador representatives presented at the Georgetown ISD State of the District event to highlight their work, and to explain the campus work in SEL with emotional regulation and the Mood Meter.
The counselor collaborates with parents through regular phone calls, conferences, and emails to support the needs of their individual child and family. In addition, the counselor maintains a campus counselor website with forms and information readily available to parents and highlighted information in weekly parent principal blasts.
