About Us

Ms. Leckrone is entering her fifth year at Forbes Middle School as a school counselor and brings over seven years of experience in education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Evangel University and her Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. She is a certified Professional School Counselor.

Originally from Missouri, Ms. Leckrone moved to Corpus Christi to pursue her graduate studies before settling in Georgetown, Texas. She enjoys spending time outdoors—especially swimming and visiting the lake. Ms. Leckrone is proud to serve the Forbes Falcon community and is passionate about supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.

Mrs. McCoy is entering her 13th year in public education. Before joining Forbes Middle School, as a School Counselor, she served as McCoy Elementary's School Counselor for five years. Her background includes experience as an elementary teacher and High School Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education from Sam Houston State University, as well as a Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. She is a certified School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Originally from Georgetown, she now lives in Round Rock with her husband and 13-year-old rescue dog, Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, and trying new restaurants. Mrs. McCoy couldn't be more excited to support Forbes Falcons as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. It's going to be an amazing year!
