About Us

Mrs. Kim was born and raised in California and earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Texas State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and this is her fifth year with Georgetown ISD. Mrs. Kim is excited to begin her new role as a School Counselor. Her background is in mental health therapy, and she continues to work with children and young adults through her private practice. She is passionate about helping students grow, build confidence, and feel supported both at school and at home. 

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys exploring local coffee shops, browsing bookstores, and spending time with her family. She is thrilled to be part of the Falcons family and looks forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff while making this a wonderful school year.

Mrs. Claybourn is thrilled to begin her first year as a school counselor at Forbes Middle School, bringing eight years of dedication to public education with her. Before transitioning into counseling, she spent seven years teaching special education across elementary, middle, and high school levels, most recently supporting students at Williams Elementary. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Southwestern University and completed her Master of Education in School Counseling at Lamar University.

A lifelong Texan, she grew up just down the road in Granger and relocated to Georgetown in the summer of 2025. She shares her home with her husband, Cody, and a busy pack of four pets: three dogs named Sven, Baby Jane, and Moose, and a cat named Tiggy. When she isn't at school, you can usually find her cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, tagging along to Texas A&M games to support her Aggie husband, hanging with family, or spending time outdoors in the sunshine. She is so excited to partner with Forbes families and help our Falcons soar!

Mrs. McCoy is entering her 14th year in public education. Before joining the team at Forbes Middle School last year, she served as McCoy Elementary's School Counselor for five years. Her background includes experience as an elementary teacher and High School Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education from Sam Houston State University, as well as a Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. She is a certified School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Originally from Georgetown, she now lives in Round Rock with her husband and 13-year-old rescue dog, Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, trying new restaurants, and traveling (especially to Disney). Mrs. McCoy couldn't be more excited to support Forbes Falcons as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. It's going to be an amazing year!
