The mission of the Georgetown Space Law Society is to spread knowledge about the incredibly exciting field that is outer space law to the Georgetown community and the world. An important part of this is making learning about jobs in the industry easier. To that end, we organize an annual Space Law Career Fair so that Georgetown Law students may learn what being a "space lawyer" is, and also, how to navigate the process of applying and getting a job in the field.
This year, our Career Fair has two parts: Part 1, open only to the Georgetown community, will gather a panel of young professionals who shared their experiences of getting a space law job after law school.
Part 2 of the Space Law Career Fair is the first career-related event we have opened to anyone who might want to join, and will feature experienced professionals from all backrounds and areas of expertise within the field of space law, who will share the details of what being a space lawyer is like.
If you are interested in joining this virtual event on Friday, April 9th at 5 pm EST, register clicking the flyer on the right!
We hope to see you there!
