The Space Law Society of the Georgetown University Law Center strives to create a place of learning, engagement, and fascination for all things space law. We connect students with mentors, recommend relevant coursework, and promote space and space law events. Above all, we prepare our members to contribute to the global space society—in national, international, or extraterrestrial fora—as they leave Georgetown and begin their cosmic careers.
Each fall, Space Law Society welcomes new students as they start their GULC journey, from fresh-faced 1Ls to experienced LLMs. Throughout the semester, the Society hosts space law speakers, intimate fire-side chats, and organizes community-building events. Each spring, the year culminates with a Career Panel, where members have an opportunity to listen, learn, and engage with professionals from different domains within space law.
Please check out our Events page for upcoming Society events. Additionally, we have student-authored summaries of space events attended online and in the D.C. area.
Please visit this wonderful page of the GULC Library for an assembly of academic sources that related to everything space law!
