A key feature of the Georgetown McDonough MBA student experience is our cohort system. Throughout the duration of the program, you will complete your fundamental core courses with a cohort of up to 70 students. While electives allow you to get to know a broad range of students across programs and class years, the cohort system for fundamental core courses ensures that strong community bonds are developed with one group. This system is also designed to promote relationships and networks outside of the classroom that will last long after you graduate. Cohorts will be announced in late-July by your assigned Program Office advisor.
Within your cohort, you will also be assigned small-group study teams of five to six students for group projects and support. Each team will be composed of students from various cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds. Your study team will change throughout the program, allowing you to work closely with more members of your cohort.Â
