Bachelor’s degree with at least 120 credits from an accredited institution OR 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is preferred.
Strong interest in sustainability, climate action, or related fields.
1. Review Program Requirements
Choose from our diverse range of master’s programs, including Sustainable Design and Architecture, Environmental Policy, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and more. Make sure to review the specific admission criteria for each program to determine your eligibility.
2. Prepare Your Application
Before starting your application, please prepare the following materials:
Statement of Purpose: Describe your academic and professional background, your interest in FuEL, and how our program aligns with your goals.
Resume/CV: Highlight your academic achievements, work experience, and relevant projects.
Official Transcripts: Provide transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters from professors, employers, or professionals who can discuss your qualifications.
Portfolio (Optional): If applying to design-based programs, such as Sustainable Design and Architecture, you may include a portfolio showcasing your work.
3. Submit Your Application
Applications are submitted through our online portal. Create an account, complete the application form, and upload your documents.
Application Fee: $75 (fee waivers available for eligible applicants).
4. Interview
After an initial review, selected applicants will be invited to a virtual interview with a faculty member or admissions representative. This is an opportunity to talk about your interest in FuEL and ask any questions you may have.
Fall Semester: March 15 (Priority), June 1 (Final)
Spring Semester: October 15 (Priority), December 1 (Final)

At Future Earth Labs, our commitment to accessible, impactful education is central to our mission. Each of our graduate programs requires 30 credits to complete, with tuition priced at $1,000 per credit hour.
