DiG serves as a university-wide student organization that convenes and trains DEI student leaders, builds community around DEI issues, and advocates for a more equitable and inclusive Georgetown University. 

DiG aims to cultivate culturally competent leaders who will promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in their personal and professional capacities across disciplines.

• Provide students with the foundational knowledge to work in diverse environments.

• Supplement classroom experiences with opportunities to engage in discourse that respects diversity of opinion and perspective.

• Facilitate skills-based workshops that promote the values of inclusion in a global and professional context.

• Define and uphold the diversity and inclusion agenda at Georgetown and ensure accountability from university leadership

• Serve as a convener for DEI Leaders to advance the DEI agenda across the university

Anyone can be a DEI Leader. A DEI leader is anyone who promotes diversity, equity and inclusion agendas in their personal and professional capacities
