DiG serves as a university-wide student organization that convenes and trains DEI student leaders, builds community around DEI issues, and advocates for a more equitable and inclusive Georgetown University.

Our Goals
Provide students with the foundational knowledge to work in diverse environments.
Supplement classroom experiences with opportunities to engage in discourse that respects diversity of opinion and perspective.
Facilitate skills-based workshops that promote the values of inclusion in a global and professional context.
Define and uphold the diversity and inclusion agenda at Georgetown and ensure accountability from university leadership
Serve as a convener for DEI Leaders to advance the DEI agenda across the university
Who is a DEI Leader?
Anyone can be a DEI Leader. A DEI leader is anyone who promotes diversity, equity and inclusion agendas in their personal and professional capacities

Finance Chair
The finance officer oversees all budgetary responsibilities, including maintenance of DIG funds through GradGov, application for and securement of funds for events, and any reconciliation of expenses post-events. The Finance Officer is DIG’s main point of contact for any issues related to funding requests and payments related to external partners.
