In order to make the best use of time during the Certificate Program, teams are required to complete prework assignments prior to attending the program. Written prework is due on April 14 and is noted below. All other prework (including readings and online tests) should be completed prior to the first day of the Certificate Program.
Please submit a brief description (no more than a couple of paragraphs) of your potential Capstone Project by April 14, 2023 that addresses the following questions:
What issue, specific to racial justice and equity in your youth legal system, do you seek to address?
What reform efforts might you undertake to advance racial justice and equity as it relates to the issue described in Question 1?
What barriers have arisen in prior attempts to address this issue? Please describe one to two major challenges your community encountered.
Submit your Capstone Idea here.
Please take the Harvard Implicit Association Test prior to the start of this program.
