Course: Emerging Technology Summer 2019
Project Design Question: How might we use augmented reality to tell a story?

Course: The Creative Process Spring 2019
Project Design Question: How might we use digital tools to tell a complex story about immigration?
Reflection: In this project I learned about the process of creativity. I also experimented with online and offline methods of finding inspiration and balance for creativity to flow. I learned how to use gifs, integrate Google Slides with gifs, how to create my own music via Garage Band and make a movie via an iPad Pro. This was a very productive and enlightening project because this project helped me realize I want to find ways to use educational technology to help low income first generation college students thrive in higher education. My thinking is, if I can do it, then I must help others do it too!
Event: Science and Technology Global Consortium 2019 Conference
Project Design Question: How might higher education institutes, in the state of California, address the need for more college educated workers?
Reflection: This project was for a conference held at the National Academy of Sciences. It was a positive experience where I learned how to create a poster using Google Slides. I found a creative way to share information from my Horizon Report on Hybrid Learning for the state of California.
Course: Learning Analytics Spring 2019
Project Design Question: How might we use data to shed light on the challenges of graduating university students?
Reflection: This project was challenging as I am not a programmer, but I learned the basics of R. Thus, I was able to render data visualization charts and graphs in order to support the need for a program idea, How to Hybrid- Learning in the 21st Century .
