Georgetown University Transportation System (GUTS) shuttle bus is a free service, which leaves frequently from the Rosslyn & Dupont Metro stations , is offered to all members of the University community.
Leaving from campus, the GUTS service runs from the McDonough Bus Turn Around to Arlington, Rosslyn, and the Dupont Circle Metro stop. It also runs to the GU Law Center.
A ride from any of the GUTS stops to the Hariri building will take no more than 20 minutes. Please note that when buses pull away from stops, they are not allowed to stop for passengers who arrive late. The GUTS pick-up/drop-off location on campus is the McDonough Bus Turnaround. Please follow the walking path noted in the map to the McDonough School of Business.

The Rosslyn bus stop is located at the corner of 19th and Moore Streets. The MetroRail station at Rosslyn serves the Blue and Orange lines.
Weekday Service:
From 5:00am until 6:45am, buses depart from the Rosslyn stop every 15 minutes.
From 6:50am until 9:50am, buses depart from the Rosslyn stop every 10 minutes.
From 10:00am until 3:30pm, buses depart from the Rosslyn stop every 20 minutes.
From 3:45pm until 6:30pm, buses depart from the Rosslyn stop every 5 minutes.
From 6:45pm until 12:00am, buses depart from the Rosslyn stop every 20 minutes.
The last two buses leave from the Rosslyn stop at 11:30pm and 12:00am.
The Dupont Circle stop is located at the corner of 20th Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NW. The Dupont Circle metro station serves the Red line.
Weekday Service:
From 6:15am until 6:45am, buses depart from the Dupont stop every 10 minutes.
From 6:55am until 9:30 am, buses depart from the DuPont stop every 5 minutes.
From 10:00am until 3:55pm, buses depart every 20 minutes.
From 4:00pm until 6:45pm, buses depart every 5 minutes.
From 7:00pm until 11:00pm, buses depart every 20 minutes.
The last two buses leave from the Dupont stop at 11:30pm and 12:00am. Buses run from campus to Dupont within this schedule, with the first bus leaving from campus at 6:00am and the last bus leaving from campus at 11:45pm.
Both the G2 and D6 Metro Buses stop at locations on campus. The G2 stops at the Healy Gates and the D6 stops on Reservoir Road by the hospital entrance. Both run to Dupont Circle where you can catch the Metro. Bus fare is $1.25 each way. You must have exact change.

These red buses can be caught on Wisconsin Avenue, and the closest route will take you past George Washington University, K Street NW, Chinatown, and end at Union Station. Fare is only $1.00 each way. Buses run every day and leave about every ten minutes.

All taxis base their fares on distance traveled. Meters are located in the front of the cab, and prominently display the cost of the ride. There are numerous surcharges, including for airport pick-ups/drop-offs, luggage, and multiple passengers. Typically, fares within the District of Columbia will cost up to about $25.00 before tax. Please be advised the majority of cab drivers do not accept credit cards and a 15-20% tip is expected for all rides.
On-Campus: While on campus, the ideal location to hire a taxi is the Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center.
Off-Campus: There are a number of cab companies in Washington, DC. All cars are clearly marked, with company names painted on doors and lights attached to roofs.
