Building change capability is a management imperative. Given the turbulence in the world today, the ability of AARP to effectively manage organizational change is especially critical. Organizations may have similar objectives, strategies, and resources, but those that execute change better, faster, and smarter will thrive in the long term.
In this session, we will first examine one of the most extensively researched and well-respected change management models. Then we will apply it to an online simulation to see if you can turnaround an organization facing change. The simulation focuses on Spectrum, a company fraught with real-world change challenges. Through careful application of change management best practices, you can build stakeholder buy-in and lead the company to success.
In debriefing the simulation, we will identify critical similarities and differences between Spectrum Sunglass Company and AAEP.
We will focus specifically on how AARP leaders can most effectively convert stakeholder resistance into support for key organizational change initiatives.
