READING RELAY 2025

From 19th to 23rd May 2025 the library played host to the first GSA Reading Relay event.  Featuring a team of volunteer readers, the aim was to read a total of 1,000 pages across the week and to raise money for the charity Read for Good.

With a new comfy beanbag chair waiting, our readers sailed past the 1,000 pages read mark by the end of the first day! The dedication continued throughout the week with over 100 readers taking part and almost 5,000 pages being read. A fantastic reading achievement, thank you to everyone who took part during the week!
