   Hosting an Event 

What type of event can go under the ACE Drawing Fund and How to request funding? 
Only member organizations of ACE may submit a proposal.
If a program is already stated in ACE organization’s budget, they may only submit a proposal for funding if they are collaborating with another ACE organization
Use of the ACE budget must be with the intent of supporting cultural initiative programs/events that are run by an ACE group unless three ACE organizations are collaborating for the program/event.
Use of the ACE Budget can only fund cultural initiative programs/events that are not already outlined in their SA Budget.
Hosting an Event Using the ACE Drawing Fund?
  1. Contact ACE Chair/ACE Vice Chair and make sure that your event fills all requirements of the ACE Drawing Fund  
  2. Fill out the ACE Drawing Fund Form 
  3. Create a Reading Rationale 
  4. Make a Budget Sheet with the Materials Needed (If applicable) 
  5. Set up a meeting with ACE VICE CHAIRS OR CHAIR
  6. DO NOT RELEASE ANY PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION UNTIL YOUR EVENT IS APPROVED BY THE ACE REPS!


Want to Bring In A Speaker?
  1. Make sure you plan the event out at least 4 weeks in advance or we will not be able to get the money in time for the presenter
  2. If you have less than four weeks speak to ACE Chair/Vice Chairs 
  3. Once you have been in contact with either the Chair or the Vice Chairs, complete the process above 
  4. DO NOT RELEASE ANY PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION UNTIL YOUR SPEAKER IS APPROVED BY THE ACE REPS AND THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN SIGNED BY THE GUEST SPEAKER!
