Summary of learning - ESL - Students explored the ways in which a text reflects its social context and examined how to write fluently for a particular audience. They also explored new words and discussed how writers use features of language.
Tasks to be completed - Write a composition with this title: The best day of my life. Choose to write about a real day or an imagined day. Include some literary devices to make your writing more interesting for the reader. (Simile or other figurative language). Think about your punctuations, use a range of full stops, comma and exclamation marks.
Summary of learning - EFL - Students explored the new words and discussed how writers used the various features of language (simile, Metaphor and personification).
They also discussed the various techniques used in creating a poem (Poetic and Prose language) along with comparing features and languages used in weather forecast.

Summary of learning - In science this week students studied the difference between unicellular and multicellular organisms. Students also learned about the skeletal system and how movement involves the skeleton, joints and muscles.
