Dear Parents,

As 2020/2021 academic year gradually winds up, and all our students prepare to move on to the next chapter of their academic life, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to all our graduating students - class of 2021. Theirs has been a very unique set who have clearly demonstrated a very high level of resilience. In spite of the numerous challenges that the current global situation has thrown at them, they have managed to come out even stronger. They have truly shown us how ready they are for the uncertain future that lies ahead, and as we bid them farewell, we strongly hope that they all take this personal accomplishment as an example of how anything is possible if they put their minds to it.

For our grades 6-9 students, it has been a feeling of excitement as they continue to engage in their project based learning activities. This has given them the opportunity to learn how to work independently and in groups, explore different contents, share ideas and participate in group discussions. They have also learnt how to make connections between different areas of learning, create links across curriculums, navigate their ways through the professional process required to accomplish their project goals. Undoubtedly, it has been a very interesting learning journey for them and a very good way to prepare them for the next academic year.

Here at WSR, our vision is to educate and empower our students to be self-directed progressive learners who are confident, compassionate and accomplished global citizens. This is the driving force behind our educational approach that focusses on equipping our students with essential skills that will enable them become the architect of their own future. As we strive to improve the academic performance of all our students by truly personalising their learning, we also help them develop their non-academic skills such as: critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, communication, social intelligence, emotional intelligence and flexibility. These are the essential tools that will enable any child succeed in this dynamic and highly competitive world.

Finally, enrolment is now in progress for the next academic year 2021/2022 and we want to encourage you to kindly secure a space for your child if you haven’t done so already. The investment that pays the highest interest is quality education, and at WSR, that is the only thing we offer.

Thank you.
