Science

Summary of learning - This week in science students explored the causes and effects of reduced oxygen supply to the body and discovered what happens in respiration, where it occurs and the effect of exercise on the rate of respiration (textbook pages 39, 44 and 45).

Tasks to be completed - Students should read textbook pages 50-51 in preparation for learning about anaerobic respiration next week. They should then create a poster to compare gas exchange in mammals, fish and insects and upload an image of their work to their Science Google Classroom. They may conduct their own independent research to help them.
