Earlier this week, Thursday has been called as a holiday to celebrate Prophet Mohammed's birthday. There will be no school on this day. Celebrations will kick off Wednesday evening with a live stream of a whole community event run by our staff and students.

Our Creepy Crawly dress up day was therefore moved to Wednesday and Progress Reports will be sent to parents on Sunday Nov 1st.

A Peek into the Learning: Early Childhood
Our KG1 students have shown an interest in pumpkins after reading a story, and have inquired into them further. In line with their Unit of Inquiry, they used their senses of sight, touch and smell to explore the pumpkins. They made observational drawings of the pumpkins, noticing their shape and size. They wondered what the pumpkins would look like on the inside and thought it would be the same color. They felt the inside of the pumpkin noticing the different textures and counted the many seeds. Students shared their reflection of the inquiry through drawings.

Today the teachers and students across the school were invited to dress up in a Creepy Crawly Costume and participate in a Costume Parade. A BIG "thank you" to the PYP Student Council and House Captains for organizing, running and promoting the event.
