GIS Safeguardian lnitiative
In today’s ever-evolving world, ensuring children's safety is more critical than ever. As new challenges and risks emerge, staying informed and proactive is essential. Safeguardian is a safeguarding awareness initiative, developed by GEMS Education with input from parents and students, that provides valuable insights and practical strategies to protect children and support their well-being. The GIS Safeguardian campaign is shaped by school-level, regional, and global trends.
The Safeguarding Team will provide parents with updates, information, and support to help them navigate parenting. Keep an eye out for Safeguardian flyers and Connect-Ed events featuring the Safeguardian logo.

GIS' Safeguarding Policy is part of GEMS Education's policies aimed at ensuring the safety of children, staff, and the wider organization. The policy is informed by regional, international, and best practice guidance, it aligns with the UAE inspection framework and Federal Law No. (3) of 2016 on Child Rights Law (Wadeema) to uphold children's rights.
The policy is also available for all staff and parents via the school website.
