Week Twenty Three - March 14th, 2025
Dear Parents & Guardians,
This week has truly reflected the dedication, ambition, and strong sense of community that make our school unique. Our students have embraced opportunities for achievement, reflection, and celebration, whether by completing an extended project, taking steps toward their future careers, or coming together for a meaningful cultural tradition. It has been a week filled with growth, connection, and memorable experiences.
Our Grade 10 students have reached a significant milestone, submitting their Personal Project reports this week! The Project is a culmination of months of research, creativity, and dedication. Since the beginning of the year, Grade 10 students have worked tirelessly on projects that reflect their passions and interests, demonstrating key ATL skills such as time management, critical thinking, and self-reflection. Congratulations to all students on this achievement, and a huge thank you to our supervisors for their guidance throughout the journey!
As our Grade 12 students approach the final stretch of their IB journey, they took a moment to capture memories during their Senior Photo Shoot this week. It was an opportunity for them to dress up in their academic gown, mortar boards and graduation sashes. While there was excitement and laughter, there was also a touch of nostalgia as they celebrated their time together before heading into their final exams next month.
Our Grade 9 students took an important step in planning for their futures during this week’s Career Assembly. The session focused on Unifrog, a powerful platform that helps students explore career pathways and make informed decisions about their subject choices in Grade 10. Students were encouraged to consider how their interests, strengths, and aspirations align with potential careers, ensuring that their subject selections set a strong foundation for future success. This was a valuable opportunity for them to reflect on their next steps and to continue to shape their academic journey with confidence.
Bringing our school community together in a spirit of unity and reflection, we hosted our Annual Community Iftar at The Westin Mina Seyahi on Wednesday evening. This cherished tradition provided a beautiful opportunity for students, staff, and families to connect and celebrate during Ramadan. The evening was filled with delicious food, meaningful conversations, and a strong sense of belonging. A heartfelt thank you to all our families who joined us for this special occasion!
As always, we are proud of our students and grateful for the dedication of our staff and families who support them. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead!
Kind regards
