Roles

Delegates represent a country or stakeholder in a committee. They research their assigned topic, write resolutions, deliver speeches, debate, negotiate, and collaborate with others to find solutions to global issues.

Chairs moderate the committee sessions. They guide debate, enforce the rules of procedure, manage speaking time, and ensure discussions remain respectful, productive, and aligned with the conference standards.

The Admin team supports the smooth running of the conference. They assist with logistics, timekeeping, distributing documents, and helping delegates and chairs throughout the event.

The Secretariat oversees the entire conference. They plan the theme, organize committees, train chairs, manage operations, and ensure GISMUN runs professionally and successfully from start to finish.
