Weaknesses
If there are any weaknesses to the idea behind Pop-Up Modular, it is the past perceptions of the prefabricated, utilitarian and unattractive spaces that have dominated the education world. The temporary portables that dot the landscape of schools where capacity limits are bursting at the seams do not leave a great impression.
The provincial building codes are not consistent, so construction fabrication would have to be provincially based.
When evaluating the transportability of these pop up modular buildings the characteristics of the land would dictate where or if the product would work in that local.
