Mid-Cycle Accreditation Self Study

      The Luis P. Untalan Middle School community has worked diligently these past three years to ensure that our school's accreditation self-study process runs smoothly and that we fully address the expectations of the self-study. 

      The 2023-2024 Mid-Cycle Self-Study Report analyzed significant changes the school has experienced since the 2020 Full Study and the school-wide action plan that addresses student learner needs. LPUMS continued to conduct staff and teacher trainings, continued to work with professional learning communities, continued to connect with parents, guardians and community partners, continued to analyze student achievement and behavior data, continued to seek input via meetings and surveys, continued to observe learning in and out of the classrooms, and many other activities to assess our progress.

      On April 9, 2024, the school community will undergo a virtual visit from the Accrediting Commission of Schools (ACS) Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This Accreditation Portal serves as the online home of the evidence for the ACS WASC Visiting Committee to use during their visit.
