The Luis P. Untalan Middle School community has worked diligently these past six years to ensure that our school's accreditation self-study process runs smoothly and that we fully address the expectations of the self-study. 

The 2020 Self Study Report analyzed the school's organization, curriculum, instruction, assessment, culture and student supports. LPUMS conducted staff and teacher trainings, creating professional learning communities, connecting with parents and guardians, analyzing surveys, and observing learning in the classrooms, to name a few.

From November 30 to December 1, the school community underwent a virtual visit from the Accrediting Commission of Schools (ACS) Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This Accreditation Portal serves as the online home of the evidence for the ACS WASC Visiting Committee to use during their visit in conjunction with Google Classroom visits, viewing the recordings of live virtual classes, and attending the virtual meetings with various groups of our school community.
