Mandatory practices begin on Monday, August 18 at 8:00AM. All athletes must be in attendance beginning 8/18, but everyone is strongly encouraged to attend daily captains' practices throughout the entire summer!
Athletes must be approved on Arbiter by the GHS health office.
You must have a current (up-to-date) physical on file with the GHS school nurse.
You must attend at least 85% of our mandatory team practices in order to be eligible to compete in the first meet.
Summer captain's practices will be taking place on a daily basis throughout the summer.
Athletes who are planning to participate in the fall are expected to attend captains' practices whenever possible throughout the summer.
Captain's practices are typically hosted every weekday and some weekends, organized by senior athletes. Times and locations are determined by upperclassmen and/or prospective captains.
Workouts completed during captains' practices should be done so according to the summer workout schedule that was put together by coaches and posted to our workout calendar. All workouts should begin with a 10 minute easy warmup and dynamic stretches.
Coaches will host workouts 1-2 times per week. We strongly encourage all athletes to attend these workouts and participate in all summer activities (NPXC series, Confluence group runs, etc...)

Below is our meet schedule for the fall 2025 XC season. Please note that dates & times are subject to change and/or cancellation. Be sure to review the following meet dates and make sure that you are available to compete. Extra-curricular events, SAT/PSAT's, vacations, college visits, and/or any other conflicting events should not be scheduled for any of the dates below.
While most of these dates have been confirmed, there is a possibility that we may NOT attend the Suffern Invitational on 9/20, and instead may attend a meet on 9/27. In addition, we have not 100% confirmed that we will be participating in the meet on 10/18 at Bowdoin. We may limit the number of athletes attending this meet. All athletes (frosh/JV/varsirty) should be prepared to compete at all meets through Counties. After the OCIAA Championship, participation is limited to top 10/varsity.
