Interviews

I interviewed two people for my project. Both are graffiti artists, from the past and the present. One is Zetro, a friend of mine who I met last summer. He is active in the New York and Colorado graffiti scenes, and introduced me to the world of writing. My second interviewee writes Mesk, a participant in the New York and Washington D.C. graffiti scenes in the 90s. His work with local hardcore bands remains an element of punk and graffiti history.

Research

As for the research, I watched various different documentaries and informative videos on the history of graffiti. I read photo books as well as various articles on my topic.
