I met with Ms. Salazar at the end of my first IP10 week with the sole intent of finding out how I was going to put out my family tree as I had absolutely no clue how I wanted to do it. We went through several different ideas that allowed me to get a much better grasp at what I was doing, narrowing my scope of research along with it. We went through several different ideas like using wood or painting magnets, but given the scale of the project, the time frame, and the fact that this project was mainly a research project, we eventually settled on felt.
As I was presenting the draft of my Symposium Presentatio to inquirry students, Dr. Nathan was observing his classes' ability to ask question, but caught some of my presentation. As he is both a history teacher and was my inquiry teacher, he was a great adult to have comment on project and he helped me figure out how I would present the research I had spent so much time on as part of project. His idea (that I took over because it's a good one) was to include little explanations in each section of the tree, or in between each section, instead of putting out a paper, to help ease the information on viewers passing by, which I found to be a great idea.
