Overview
The main form of research that I completed for this project was interviews. I completed nine major interviews with various leading thinkers, as well as some other interviews with students to get a youth perspective. I wanted to have interviewees with a wide range of backgrounds, careers, and beliefs, which is how I ended up interviewing these specific nine leading thinkers. They gave me a variety of answers, most of which are reflected in my final article. Before each interview, I researched the person's background and their views on my topic (which included reading two books that are cited in the "Resources" page of the website!). Aside from some brief research I completed on partisanship, these interviews served as the baseline for the topics mentioned in my article.
