Daily Homework

Students are expected to do a small amount of homework each evening. Every morning when students arrive at school, assignments are on the board and ready to be written in their assignment books. I will check in homework as students arrive in the morning.

MATH HOMEWORK

Each evening after we have completed a new math lesson students will have a Home Links sheet to complete. This reviews the topic we covered in class. If a student has forgotten or lost the paper, it can be found in McGraw Hill Connect Ed - Everyday Math. The EM at home button will allow them to view the math assignment. They can complete the work on their iPad and take a screenshot to show me or complete the work on a sheet of paper.

READING HOMEWORK

Each night students are expected to read 20 minutes at home. This can be done from books, magazines, or online reading apps like Epic or Kindle. They will have a monthly reading log to complete and turn in at the end of the month. The log can be viewed and downloaded using the picture on the left.
