The Volunteer Board assists the Volunteer Program Manager and Volunteer Program staff with recruitment, recognition and retention, orientation, continuing education, communications, and social events. They support and represent all Museum volunteers. They serve as liaisons between Museum staff and administration and the volunteers. The Board provides feedback to Museum staff and administration about programs, activities and experiences. The Volunteer Board provide a forum for volunteers to voice concerns. Eligibility Requirements: Board members must maintain 40 hours of service per year outside of Board work.
Shift times: The Board meets on the first Wednesday of every month, at 5:00 p.m.; committee meetings may be scheduled outside of this time, pending member availability.
Time Commitment: Board members are asked to serve a 1 year term, from January to December.
Age Requirement: There is no age requirement for the Board.
