Anthropology Collection Assistant volunteers ensure the continued research of natural history objects for future generations.
Specifically, Anthropology Collection Assistant volunteers are responsible for cataloging and preserving anthropological/archaeological objects. This may include building individual housing/storage structures, making padded rings for pottery, and other tasks. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle fragile objects with care and precision.
Training Required: All new Anthropology Collection Assistant volunteers receive on-the-job training.
Shifts Times: TBD by supervisor
Time Commitment: 1 shift per week, for a one-year term.
Age Requirement: 18 years or older
