Join us for a brown bag lecture with an NHMU in-house expert. Learn more about the research going on at the Museum, and get to know our amazing research staff in a casual setting. The Winter Brown Bag Series take place January - March, and lectures are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at midday (so feel free to bring your lunch!). Attending a Winter Brown Bag Lecture can be counted as volunteer service hours under the "Continuing Education" assignment.
Check this page for information about upcoming Winter Brown Bag Lectures, and see an archive of past lectures.
In lieu of a Winter Brown Bag lecture this month, we’re excited to share with you a Darwin Day Celebration event that is taking place at NHMU, in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology at the University of Utah. Attending any of the following lectures may be counted as Continuing Education volunteer service.
Below, you can see past lectures from the Winter Brown Bag series. Watching the recorded lecture is not eligible to be counted at volunteer service hours.
Please note, recorded continuing education opportunities are intended only for NHMU Volunteers. Please do not share these videos outside of the Volunteer Program.
