Museum Insider is a series of moderated discussions about the inner-workings of NHMU. Hear from select NHMU staff about how our Museum works, and how it changes over time. Tune in to each discussion to hear from a different in-house expert on what we hold within our walls, how we choose what to show the public, and how we make changes to keep everything up to date. Discussions are held on the 3rd Wednesdays of April and August in the evening. Attending a Museum Insider Discussion can be counted as volunteer service hours under the "Continuing Education" assignment.
Check this page for information about upcoming Museum Insider Discussions, and see and see an archive of past discussions.
Below, you can view the recordings of past discussions in this series. Watching the recorded discussion is not eligible to be counted as volunteer service hours.
Please note, recorded continuing education opportunities are intended only for NHMU Volunteers. Please do not share these videos outside of the Volunteer Program.
