OVERVIEW:
The PROCTOR sets up a test session on their computer where they:
Select the students to test
Select the test to be administered
Select the accommodation (if necessary)
Save or Run the Test

STEP 1: LOGIN to NWEA

Open GOOGLE
Enter NWEA UAP LOGIN or CLICK HERE
Enter the following:
LOGIN ID = your e-mail (sarah.restrepo@gcds.net, for example)
PASSWORD = the password that you set up (and if you don’t remember, we can generate a reset)
NOTE THAT: If you don’t have a LOGIN ID / PASSWORD: contact Sarah Restrepo or Heidi Pauletti. They can create / validate LOGIN IDs and PASSWORDS.
STEP 2: CLICK THE MAP GROWTH DROP-DOWN MENU

STEP 4: ADD STUDENTS TO THE TEST SESSION

Click the FIND STUDENTS TO TEST button:
On the subsequent page, select your search criteria:
SCHOOL = The Greenwich Country Day School
GRADE = Grade
INSTRUCTOR = Instructor Name
CLASS = the specific name of the class you teach
CLICK “SEARCH”
A list of students who meet this criteria will appear.
Click ADD STUDENTS. The students will be moved to the bottom of the screen.

Click the FIND STUDENTS TO TEST button:
A check will appear in the boxes preceding all student names.

Click the ASSIGN TEST button. The following screen will appear:
Select the desired test. At GCDS, we use the following:
Growth: Language 2-12 (for all students)
Growth: Math 2-5 (for 3rd Grade through 5th Grade)
Growth: Math 6+ (for 6th Grade through 12th Grade)
Growth: Reading 2-5 (for 3rd Grade through 5th Grade)
Growth: Reading 6+ (for 6th Grade through 12th Grade)
Once you have chosen the desired test, select ASSIGN.
The selected test will now appear with the student profile.
STEP 7: ADD ACCOMMODATIONS - if necessary

If a student is eligible for accommodations (such as text-to-talk), perform the following steps:
Select the specific student by putting a check in the box preceding their name.
Click the ASSIGN ACCOMMODATION button.
From the resulting dialogue box, select the desired accommodation. Then click the ASSIGN button.
A YES will now appear next to the student name in the ACCOMMODATION column.
STEP 7: TEST NOW or SAVE SESSION

You are now ready to test the students.
If students will arrive shortly: select TEST NOW and begin to test. Give the students the LOGIN ID and PASSWORD generated by MAP.
If you want to save this test session and test later, click the SAVE SESSION and give the session a name you will remember (such as MATH23 or UEMATH or BASINETMATH).
