MAP Growth uses a unique indicator called a RIT Score (based on a Rasch unit scale).
This score allows a family to measure growth over time
In earlier grades, students will achieve a lower RIT score (often in the 100s)
As the student progresses to more difficult material in higher grades, students will see higher RIT scores (often in the 200s)
Shows "typical questions" for specific RIT numbers
Divided into Math, Language Usage, Reading Comprehension, and Science
Used to see which concepts correspond to specific RIT scores.
