FOR STUDENTS:

  • Wait for further instructions from your teacher / proctor with LOGIN ID and PASSWORD.

FOR TEACHERS / PROCTORS:

• ALL TEACHERS: assign homework each night for students to a) charge their computers and b) come to school with a charged computer and their charger

• PROCTORS: NIGHT BEFORE Set up your test sessions the night before and SAVE THE LOGIN ID / PASSWORD.  [Save Test Session]

• PROCTORS MORNING OF: Send TEST LOGIN ID and PASSWORD to all classrooms.

• CLASSROOM TEACHERS MORNING OF: Put test.mapnwea.org and TEST LOGIN ID and PASSWORD.

FOR CLASSROOM TEACHERS MORNING OF:

• Seat students.

• Have students change their computer display to 100%.

• Have students add ALLOW POPUP for NWEA.

• Have students log into NWEA MAP GROWTH STUDENT LOGIN (test.nweamap.com).

• Have students await instructions.

FAQs

May students use scrap paper for the math section?

• YES

About how many questions in each section?

• READING = 50

• LANGUAGE = 45

• MATH = 40

But this is an adaptive test ... so it will be different for each student.

I get extra time?  What should I do?

• For MAP, you take as much time as you need for all sections.  No need to rush.

Should I guess if I don't know the answer?

• YES!  In fact, you have to guess or the test will not progress to the next question.

Will my parents see these scores?

• Yes, after the entire school finishes testing.
