Our instruction is data-informed, research-based, and developmentally appropriate. Our academic standards and resulting test scores meet or exceed state/national standards and outcomes. Christian values permeate our decision-making processes and instructional methodology to ensure that students are immersed in a Christ-centered environment.
Our rigorous curricula includes intensive early literacy and maths with lots of hands-on, experiental learning opportunities which allow students to make the all-important transition from concrete to representational and then finally to abstract thinking. We are a hybrid forest kindergarten program. We center our students' educational experience around a core of environmental education and a wide range of engaging experiences in our outdoor classroom. This interdisciplinary approach integrates science, social studies, math, language arts, and Bible in a way that that immerses children in the natural world. We believe strongly that emergent and experiential learning in nature creates context for everything students will learn in the future. Research again and again highlights the positive outcomes we pursue for our students. Click HERE to learn more about our philosophical basis for instruction.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, a large piece of our curricula is modeling and direct instruction centered around social-emotional and executive function skills. These skills are perhaps the most critical things we teach, because students must have them to move forward successfully, regardless of the level of academic knowledge they have acquired. We begin every day with Bible instruction and social-emotional development activities.
